Aftercare for Permanent Makeup

Proper aftercare is crucial for the final effect and longevity of the pigment. Follow the guidelines below to ensure the best healing and beautiful results.

What you should do:
  1. During the first 24 hours:

    • Avoid touching the pigmented area.

    • If plasma or moisture appears, gently dry the area with a sterile gauze pad.

  2. From the second day:

    • Wash the gently pigmented area with lukewarm water and neutral soap, once a day.

    • After washing, gently dry the skin with a paper towel, do not rub.

    • Apply a thin layer of regenerating cream 2-3 times a day, for about 7 days.

  3. Let the skin heal naturally – scabs and peeling are a normal stage. Don’t pick them off!

Avoid the following:
  • Do not rub, scratch, or peel flaking skin.

  • Do not use alcohol-based cosmetics, acids and strong ingredients on the pigmented area.

  • Avoid sun and tanning bed exposure for at least 4 weeks.

  • Do not use pools, saunas, or gyms for about 10 days.

  • Do not apply makeup to the pigmented area for at least 7 days.

  • Do not perform exfoliating treatments (peeling, microdermabrasion, acids) for 4-6 weeks.

Additional information:
  • After the first stage of healing (about 7-10 days), the pigment may temporarily appear too light – this is normal. The final color stabilizes after about 4 weeks.

  • In most cases, it is necessary to complete the treatment during post-pigmentation (usually after 4-6 weeks).

  • The final result depends on individual skin characteristics, the type of pigment and adherence to recommendations.
